I'm the worst. I claim to be Mytho's friend, and yet all I can do is hurt him. Why couldn't I just shut up and try to keep peace? But...I was worried...and I was angry...and now...now Mytho hates me.

...He told me to leave...he wished he'd never invited me to come...

*had been in the middle of mixing a potion, when he stops to notice a bit of thundering outside.*

In a literary sense, one would say that this is omnious...

*Autor steps up from his seat from the brewing potion to clear a forming condensation on the window with his hand. No sooner than the moment he can see through the window, he catches sight of a familiar raven-haired girl leaning against the side of the house*

It's...it's Rue..! What is she doing out there in the rain?! ...something's happened.

*He doesn't take another moment to think of the possible horrible reasons for the situation, and clammers down the stairs and out the door. He tries to walk slower as he reaches closer to where Rue is standing, getting close enough to realize that she's crying*

R-rue... what.. happened to you?

*hearing the voice of her friend, Rue's head shoots up in surprise. Paths of tears are shining on her face. Her black hair is soaking wet and her clothes are so wet one could almost see through them. Rue bows her head, feeling ashamed, and her wet hair almost moves like a black curtain around her face; she hadn't meant for anyone to see her cry, particularly not Autor. She hated how weak she was feeling, almost as much as everything that had just happened. She tries to bite back her grief, but it proves to be hopeless. When she speaks, the tears are apparent in her quiet voice.*

...W-what are you doing here?

*When he sees Rue's tears along with her drenched and pitiful appearance, something stings inside himself until it hurts. He walks slowly up to her once again until he can reach his arms sofly around her back and pulls her in, in hopes of giving her the little comfort he has to share*

What... happened, Rue?

*Surprised by his grip around her, Rue almost doesn't respond to the kindness, consumed by the guilt and humiliation inside of her. But her grief just is too much for her, and she practically falls into his arms, her head sinking onto his shoulder as she struggles to pull back the tears blossoming from her eyes.*

I...Mytho...I'm so horrible...
