When dpolicar had his stroke, it was very much like that for his love. Here was this amazingly brilliant man reduced to gibberish and insanity with the possibility of not being able to create bridges back.

But the beauty of the human body is that it defies gravity in so many ways. He's back, because amazing and caring people studied medicine and continue to care enough to make a difference.

Keep studying. Maybe in your lifetime, we will find ways of remapping the neurology more effectively.

I concur. My Mom suffers from Alzheimer's. In reality we lost her a couple of years ago.
