Lost
It's been a month since I lost my wife gothgirlrx to ALS. I feel empty. There's a part missing inside me I cant describe.
The grief comes in waves. How is she not a part of this world and I am.

I miss you gothgirlrx. I can't express how deeply thankful I am that we came jnto each other's lives.
The sadness comes in waves - but so do the the happy memories.
Im trying to get back to life - but it's hard.

Beer and memories
A lonely Monday night - me, a beer, and aome memories at our usual haunt. Ran into Beverly here who knew us well. Some tears and some good laughs.

Nothing else matters
When the right person comes along, nothing else matters.
My wife passed away early last week from ALS. She was my best friend, long before we started dating. She knew all of who I am.
The last 6 months of that terrible disease was awful but I wouldn't have changed a thing if it meant I couldn't have loved and cared for her.

Update
I married my best friend in the fall of 2018. She and I have been best friends for 10 years or more and have shared all of our secrets. She knows I am gay or bi now I guess. She is bi as well if that matters, and I guess it does if for no other reason than she understands.

Who is still out here?
Just checking. I think i need to write more. But if all of my LJ friends have moved on then perhaps I'll find another outlet.

Just maybe
I wonder if maybe, starting over, I won't tell anyone of my sexuality, or rather my past sexuality. Straight people think I'm diseased because I've slept with other guys. Gay people think I'm some sort of a fraud because I am still attracted to women.
I'm quite over this life. -
