With most of my college friends wrapping up exams this past week, there's been naught for me to do but watch cartoons, namely Justice League.

Marvel characters are full of angst and smart-ass comments. I like some aspects of the Marvelverse (the Spidey movies, the early-90s X-Men cartoon) but not the actual comics. :/

Speaking of invincible, take Wolverine - he basically can't die. Where's the suspense in that? Even Superman died.

The problem is I like all the LJA characters too much! It's a nice problem to have.

He didn't really turn into an angel - the cover was just a hamfisted metaphor. Although one of Supergirl's incarnations was an angel.

Character, huh? All the same, I like my superheroes all bright and shiny in disposition.
