This was sad and happy at the same time! Poor Doctor, he really did love Donna, it seems.

As for Holly, yup, definitely her mother's daughter. No one could do a slap like Donna! Trust Donna to see details, like the pinstripe coat left behind when the Doctor hid, and how Ella could have managed to get that star on top of the tree.

Good that Twelve went to see Ella again, and sent Clara first. He remembered scaring her first time around. I noticed you skipped over Eleven; that probably would have been too much for her.

I was cracking up, too, when Ella saw that portrait of Elizabeth I and the Doctor! No, no new theories.... just a picture!

Now, back to "One Question," right? You left them wanting.... something or other.

There's a hint that he might have loved Donna...or at least regretted not being able to give her everything she wanted to be happy. He doesn't say it directly, but we know Ten has trouble saying "I love you ( ... )

Well, you left them wanting more.... they must be stiff by now, staying wrapped up like that! *snort* I agree, the plot must be advanced on that one, and that's a good route to choose. DVD extras are nice, but the idea is how Donna faces down her fear and the aftermath, not necessarily the action itself. I'm sure you'll do well with it, and both Donna and the Doctor will be better for it (provided they don't keep fighting with you and the other authors around here ( ... )

Oh probably, but it's the good kind of "stiff." Yep, I just went there. *snickergiggles* I'm still trying to figure out where to pick up that story...the next day, I think. As always, I had a great idea about 4 o'clock in the morning and now I can't remember what the heck it was ( ... )

Awww, lots and lots of babies to end us on a happy note.... except for the Doctor. *hugs him* At least he's got Clara though. I can easily imagine him popping by every now and then.

Shame Rodders Rodney never got the chance to react to that portrait. Ha ha ha!

Yay babies! I closed the story with everyone winding up with a companion of some sort.

Poor Rodney...maybe Ella will show it to him someday when they're all old and grey.

I almost think it would be fun to flip this story on its head and write it from the Doctor's POV, or maybe just key scenes from it because I don't want to rewrite the whole thing. It might be interesting to see the situation from his eyes, especially what compelled him to read her journal.

*sigh* I should probably finish another certain story first that's almost completed.

That word "should" is really restrictive at times. If your muse compels you to do the Doctor's POV first, then why not? I'd love to know his motivations here as he dealt with the possible minefield Ella's journal threw up.

*hugs* Plus, I feel your pain because I've just been challenged to write a different Tatennant crossover.

I'd love to explore that moment when he decides what to do with her...erase her memories or give her the benefit of the doubt? Mwah ha ha ha.

Writing from Ten's point of view...I have a feeling this is going to be hard! I've never been inside the pants brain of a Time Lord. >:)

We'll see what happens.

Yay looks like a happy ever after, I'm glad everything turned out all right for Ella!
Even though: poor Doctor :( He really wanted to give Donna this other life, too... *sniffs* No, let's not open this wound again. I just like to think of this ending as happy <3

Great job! Can't wait how you'll continue your other story.

Glad you liked it! I'm a big fan of happy endings (most of the time).

Working on the other story now. I have a couple of ways I could take it, but it's choosing one!

I know what you mean x3

Yay, sounds great. Having to chose between multiple ways that work is probably better than being stuck with nothing at all. It can be hard, too though... Anyway, go you! I'm sure you'll chose the right one!

Wrote 2 and a bit pages last night! I have a good start, still deciding what comes next. It's more of a "wrap this up" chapter with some allusions to the future. There WILL be DVD extras, though!

Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I may have to write creepy!Ten again because he almost always winds up being caring!Ten and I love that dichotomy.
