There's a hint that he might have loved Donna...or at least regretted not being able to give her everything she wanted to be happy. He doesn't say it directly, but we know Ten has trouble saying "I love you."

Yep! Perceptive!Donna is still perceptive. Poor Holly's got it in for her with a mom like that. :)

I had to do the slapping bit. It screamed to be written.

Writing the National Gallery section was loads of fun. Poor confused Brian! I normally wouldn't have shoved in something like that, but it seemed to fit into the plot with Ella being an Art History professor.

I debated whether to do Eleven or Twelve and I figured Twelve would be more of a shock to her and allowed me to write a bit of Clara. I think Eleven dropped in from time to time, but he never bothered to say hi. He was just too busy. Even Twelve doesn't stay long.

I didn't leave them wanting in "One Question!" I left them wrapped up in each other's arms! *cue "awwww"* I just need a resolution and I'm working on how to tie up that story (the smut's going to come as a DVD extra...advance all the plots!).

Well, you left them wanting more.... they must be stiff by now, staying wrapped up like that! *snort* I agree, the plot must be advanced on that one, and that's a good route to choose. DVD extras are nice, but the idea is how Donna faces down her fear and the aftermath, not necessarily the action itself. I'm sure you'll do well with it, and both Donna and the Doctor will be better for it (provided they don't keep fighting with you and the other authors around here).

I can't really imagine Eleven going to visit; he was too busy trying to disengage himself from everything emotionally. Twelve was the logical choice here; he's separated enough and mature enough to handle it.

Yup, Holly isn't going to get away with anything with Supertemp around! There was a very strong hint that Ten fell in love with Donna; a novel situation for him, I think. Usually it was the other way around. The adoring looks he gave her, even as they were denying they were a couple, said it all. He definitely regretted not being able to give her everything she needed to be happy. On the other hand, she willingly gave that up to stay with him and begged him to let her die knowing him and what they had done together. She was truly happy with him as well.

The fact is, she's still very much in danger if she remembers anything of her time with him. I'm sure Ten was relieved that his pinstripe jacket didn't set her off. He would have been totally devastated that it was his fault.

Oh probably, but it's the good kind of "stiff." Yep, I just went there. *snickergiggles* I'm still trying to figure out where to pick up that story...the next day, I think. As always, I had a great idea about 4 o'clock in the morning and now I can't remember what the heck it was!

Yeah, Eleven is too frantic. I figured it would be Twelve. That felt like the more natural choice.

I always imagined it would have to be something very specific to the Doctor, like the TARDIS, to trigger her memory. I don't imagine everyday things like pinstripe suits or even names like Martha or Jack would do it. There's no way she'd be able to function on a daily basis without risk of dying if that were the case. At the worst, I could see her getting a bad headache. Still, that was a close call with the jacket. I think Ella was pretty freaked out there for a moment or two.

All right, I'm off to a funeral in San Antonio. :( I'll think about "One Question" some more on the drive down there. I'm listening to David Tennant read an audio book, so perhaps I'll get some inspiration.
