Title: Give Thanks
Status: Complete
Characters, Pairings: Turkey/America, Canada
Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Turkey comes over to celebrate Thanksgiving with America and Canada, with some plans for the former.

Staffer's Review: There is much to be said for a fill that takes an extremely silly premise and builds a surprisingly believable relationship between two unlikely characters. The combination of Eastern exoticism with an all-American holiday is especially amusing and relatively rare.

Title: In Which France Pwns Clothing
Status: Complete
Characters, Pairings: France, South Italy, North Italy, Ensemble
Rating: 1 star
Summary: "What are the physical differences between North and South Italy?" France was honestly just trying to answer the question!

Staffer's Review: Short but hilarious, this fic demonstrates that no article of clothing is ever safe around France!

Title: Theodore Yogi Adams- Washington Bear
Status: Complete
Characters, Pairings: America, grizzly bear, ensemble
Rating: 1 star
Summary: America brings his friend to the meeting. The other Nations are not so much disapproving as terrified.

Staffer's Review: While a brief fill, it is full of laughs. In case the name didn't give it away, it is a delightful combination of hilarity, absurdity, and in-character responses!

Title: At His Mercy
Status: Complete
Characters, Pairings: North Italy/Germany
Rating: 2 Stars
Summary: Germany is rather tied up, but hopes North Italy is capable of at least one thing: getting him out of these knots.

Staffer's Review: A wonderfully funny fill, where North Italy is devious and still...Italy while Germany is genre-savvy in all the wrong ways. The fact that it is in Germany's point-of-view only adds to the hilarity.

Title: Can't Live Without 'Em
Status: Complete
Characters, Pairings: America, ensemble
Rating: 1 star
Summary: It's America's turn to host Seder. It is going chaotically, like most family events.

Staffer's Review: I love this fic like stupid. America's narrative voice is just fantastic, and England is hysterically himself and also a Jewish Mother. I love the sense that the story gives of off big family gatherings where you don't always know who all the relatives are but you know you should know, and there's the sense of history between them that sits right with the "family" vibe of a Seder.

Title: Untitled
Status: Complete.
Characters, Pairings: America/England
Rating: 1 Star.
Summary: England has no sense of humor.

Staffer's Review: America tries his hand at Shakespeare poetry in this clever little fill. Even if England doesn't find it funny, the reader certainly does. Especially with all the wonderful references to England's ass and eyebrows.

Title: I Like My Coffee Bitter and Frozen Solid
Status: Complete
Characters, Pairings: Denmark--> Norway
Rating: 1 star
Summary: Denmark nearly kills himself to declare his love for Norway. Norway is having none of it.

Staffer's Review: I love this take on Norway, because as much as I ship them, it seems more accurate to me to have Norway be far more independent, and angry, than he is portrayed in much of canon. This is just a fantastic fill - you understand where both of them are, and you feel both of them, and you feel the inevitability of the ending.

Title: Untitled
Status: Complete.
Characters, Pairings: France, Germany
Rating: 1 Star.
Summary: France's bedside manner is not reassuring.

Staffer's Review: The expressions are the really killers in this picture. Germany's skepticism is palpable, but really, how can you not trust France when he's smiling and sparkling like that? (...Don't answer that.)

Title: Ontario
Status: Complete
Characters, Pairings: Russia/France, England, America, Canada, ensemble
Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Russia and France make the most of the last secret moments they have together during the final G8 meeting.

Staffer's Review: This is a exquisitely written look at two nations who, despite their terrifying reputations, are still capable of feeling love and desire and loss. The intimate scenes are lovely, but even more striking are the other nations' prejudices against France and Russia, which lend this fic a realistic link back to the original source material.

Title: Rules of the Game
Status: Complete
Characters, Pairings: North Italy/Germany
Rating: 3 stars
Summary: North Italy asks Germany if he wants to play a game. Germany may be the one giving the orders, but we know who's really in charge.

Staffer's Review: I love this fic because it shows trust and love, and affection for each other - the sex isn't "hey I love you NOW LET'S HAVE SEX"; it's simply "I love you ( ... )

Title: Croatoan
Status: Complete.
Characters, Pairings: America/England, Japan, ensemble.
Rating: 3 Stars.
Summary: On a trip to Roanoke Island one Halloween night, America vanishes without a trace. One year later, England and Japan walk into a completely different world and must defeat a powerful witch to save both America and themselves.

Staffer's Review: A truly epic and awesome story that grabs you from the get-go. One of the highlights of this story is its deep exploration into England's mind and the realization of what he feels towards America. But that's just one part of it. The action and suspense scenes are superb and the magic touches extraordinary. There are no superfluous moments; everything is important to the overall plot. Not to mention, it's just excellent writing. A definite must-read.
