That is uber adorable! I think you managed to completely avoid using any gender pronouns on New Zealand at all. I can see these two hanging out so much while their respective brothers compete to see who can annoy England more.

Sweden had to constantly remind himself as to why he had let Denmark be Santa at his house this year. It could have been to make Finland's burden easier and give him a chance to relax when he finally got home. It could also have been him getting fed up with Denmark's constant chattering and the still and quiet from when Denmark went out to “buy the newspaper” until he got back with a cheery “Ho ho ho, are there any nice kids here today?” and a sack full of nicely wrapped presents, was totally worth it ( ... )

At least once a year they meet up to take a drink together. It has become tradition over years of uncertainties, economical earthquakes and almost-wars that could have killed them all.
