[Mod!Post] HetaChristmas Advent Lightning Challenge!

For the next few days at least, we're all going to be busy with holidays and with the Hetalia Christmas Event and as a way to pass the time I have come up with this challenge.

At least once a year they meet up to take a drink together. It has become tradition over years of uncertainties, economical earthquakes and almost-wars that could have killed them all. They have needed this steadiness, like a cliff to hold onto in the middle of the storm. And so the tradition stays.

Every two years they spend their New Years' in a small pub in Dover, the others they spend in a restaurant in Calaïs - because from both cities you can almost see the fireworks from the other side. This year they're in Dover.

France complains over cheap wine and for once, England listens and actually hears what he's saying, about anything that comes to mind. About war and weapons, about peace and calm, about economy and crisis - and, about wine.

There's something fragile behind France's blue eyes this time and he looks vulnerable for once when he sips carefully at his drink. The storm has come over him again, and it might tear him to pieces, if he's not careful.

But France doesn't speak of crisis this time. He speaks about wine and how foul the English ones are.

England still listens. He doesn't like wine anyway.
