-What's in Montreal that is so important?

Ah, but was that Montreal or was the "church in the painting Notre Dame? I don't know the landscape of Montreal, never been there, but that building sure as hell looked like the famous cathedral in Paris.

After all the hype and news and articles and build-up... Not impressed with Elle. She's just another snarky blonde to add to the pile. I kind of feel bad for Kristen Bell, because she didn't have a snowball's chance in Hell of living up to all that. No one does.

Very true. Such a shame. And she killed Ricky just when I started thinking he was really hot! Death to blondie! It's exactly what we talked about with Bela: there are no layers to the character to be seen so how can there be any sort of character arc for her?

Nathan's hair rules the world. I've always been in love with Adrian, ever since I saw Near dark as a semi-wee one, but he's blowing away his own competition with his sheer awesomeness and hotness in HeroesAnd a particular snark of mine...Well, actually it's a particular snark ( ... )

Heroes folks? People in New Orleans don't sound like Rue McClanahan. Stop it.

God, ain't it the truth? LOL awful. Is that the writers/voice coaches faults or the actors?

I think it's definitely a temptation to the actors to do hammy Old South; heck, I'll do it at the drop of a hat, lol!

N'Owlins does have that particular, peculiar twang all their own, it's a shame not to see it utilized. (Well, seeing as I switch back and forth between K-Ville and Heroes on Monday nights, it's like: "Natural; Ooh, not so much." Lol!)

Yeah, the hammy part is a potential fall back, but I'm sure there are good language/voice coaches out there that can help them sound a bit more realistic than Blanche. Not that there probably aren't people out there who DO sound like her, but still.

How are the accents in K-ville, btw?

Hehe, I like that. Peter's Canvas. We'll have to alternate, since Isaac is still a very real presence in the series. =^)

I like your points about people facing their fears. All of your examples are dead on.

Very interesting analyses about Matt. I, too, wonder about why he would have left Janice if he heard her think the baby was his; perhaps for teh same reasons why she lied to him: he was seen (or saw himself) as a danger to the child.

As for the guard's words coming out as gibberish, could that be a reflexion of his dyslexia? Furthermore, is his psychic ability a genetic compensation for his dyslexia?

I LOVE your conclusion about both dreams being guilt-driven. That is so apt and so useful for explaining their motivations. GOD, I can't wait for Nathan to find Peter again. The wait is killing me!

I think Elle's daddy is Bob, but thats just a wild guess, since he seems to be running the company.

I also want to know what's in Montreal. Like ghanistarkiller, I thought it was Notre Dame as well, but I suppose it was the street names ( ... )

Had no idea about this before, but apparently Montreal has their own Notre-Dame cathedral: Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal

See, Heroes is educational as wella s entertaining! :-D (I certainly love any excuse to look things up! :-D)

Yup! I found that too! SUPER cool. Maybe this is indicative of connections to Paris for our Heroes as well.

That could well be, too!

And OOOH at your picking up of another door #9. Perhaps symbolic of the 9 that are left of the original 12?

Perhaps so. I just wonder how many more times we're going to see "9" popping up. Besides Chris Eccleston, I mean. *giggles* Dr. Who humor. Dr. Whumor! LOL! I'm on such a roll.

She should never say "butsecks" and "boyo" in the same sentence, LMAO!

Ah, good points about Matt not approaching the baby! I hadn't even picked up on that. And it does seem so very strange in light of Molly. I really wonder how he and Mohinder came to that agreement now; was the reason he was ready to do it because he was feeling guilty over the baby he abandoned?

I'm actually wondering if he abandoned his own child to be closer to Molly... Which would be a whole new level of WTF on his part.

Hehe. I'm making up for my lack of posts last week (though I have some responses written on paper. Never got around to typing them.)

(Should we start calling it Peter's Canvas...? ;))Nooes! Definitely keep it Isaac's canvas. He will be remembered, demmit ( ... )

Niki is facing Jessica with the help of The Company. I'm not really convinced that this is what happening. Niki and Jessica seemed to make peace at the end of season 1.

I'm in the same boat. When Niki turned to the company in 2x03, I believed it had to do with the virus. Maybe the 'aggravation' of Jessica again has something to do with that? Or maybe how ever The Company is treating Niki is bringing out Jessica's aggression?

Then what do you believe her outburst was? Because that was obviously an angry, Jessica moment she was having all over Bob.

There's Two Side To Every Conflict - At least two sides. And sometimes, it's impossible to tell where one side starts and one side begins. This is the problem of living a life of the morally gray. Sometimes the sides are switched, or one seems right when it isn't right at all. It all spirals. Mohinder seemed moderately okay with the Company last season, too, like when Thompson wanted him to help Molly. But HRG is right when he told Mohinder to know the sides. It's more a question of "who do you trust?" And if one is willing to put 100% of their trust into another or not. There are quite a few people in this show who unconditionally trust another person. It's pretty astounding ( ... )

It could be that Matt being imprisoned was just a way of him punishing himself for things believes himself guilty for, good point. :D
