-What's in Montreal that is so important?

Ah, but was that Montreal or was the "church in the painting Notre Dame? I don't know the landscape of Montreal, never been there, but that building sure as hell looked like the famous cathedral in Paris.

After all the hype and news and articles and build-up... Not impressed with Elle. She's just another snarky blonde to add to the pile. I kind of feel bad for Kristen Bell, because she didn't have a snowball's chance in Hell of living up to all that. No one does.

Very true. Such a shame. And she killed Ricky just when I started thinking he was really hot! Death to blondie! It's exactly what we talked about with Bela: there are no layers to the character to be seen so how can there be any sort of character arc for her?

Nathan's hair rules the world. I've always been in love with Adrian, ever since I saw Near dark as a semi-wee one, but he's blowing away his own competition with his sheer awesomeness and hotness in Heroes!

And a particular snark of mine...Well, actually it's a particular snark of someone I know (aversmallthing) who lives in New Orleans (meant to be funny so don't take offense! :-)):

Heroes folks? People in New Orleans don't sound like Rue McClanahan. Stop it.

God, ain't it the truth? LOL awful. Is that the writers/voice coaches faults or the actors?

I think it's definitely a temptation to the actors to do hammy Old South; heck, I'll do it at the drop of a hat, lol!

N'Owlins does have that particular, peculiar twang all their own, it's a shame not to see it utilized. (Well, seeing as I switch back and forth between K-Ville and Heroes on Monday nights, it's like: "Natural; Ooh, not so much." Lol!)

Yeah, the hammy part is a potential fall back, but I'm sure there are good language/voice coaches out there that can help them sound a bit more realistic than Blanche. Not that there probably aren't people out there who DO sound like her, but still.

How are the accents in K-ville, btw?

They vary. The leads are excellent, but some of the secondary characters are really hamming it. Epecially, strangely, the ones I know to already have thick Southern accents. Are they trying to cover their Georgia or whatever accent up and do a new one at the same time?! It's a mystery. But for the most part, yeah, nicely subtle, thick where they have to be, which a real consciousness towards the difference in locales within the city.

I think it was definitely Montreal, because all the previews are pointing in that direction.

Exactly. Very one-dimensional. I'm already bored with her, unfortunately, lol.

LOL! Yeah, the New Orleans accent could use some work. Then again, so could all the accents.

I found the church itself; its Notre Dame de Montreal!

So, in a way, we're all right! =^)
