I'm just keeping a New Year's resolution...yes, I really am. That resolution was to devote most of my time to my home (redecorating, because I'm bloody tired of feeling like I live in a dorm room) and my two children. Bloody cold here! Not much going on, but I have started writing a new Dr Who fic. It's about Nancy's granddaughter. I've always wondeed what became of Nancy and Jamie, so I've decided to write a Nine/OFC/Torchwood story about it ( Read more... )

Just a small case of the blues. But I'm not sad. It was a very busy day at work as I am preparing for a meeting with a client on the 2nd. He has a large account and it's time to do an account review and rebalance. We had a client pass away recently, so I'm also bogged down with all of the estate settlement as well. I plan on retiring to England. I have it all planned out. I will take a first class berth on a train to New York, where I will catch one of the Cunard boats from New York to South Hampton. Once in England I will rent a flat and spent the next year or two exploring Europe. That is if I don't get into Oxford to read for my Dphil in Literature ( Read more... )
