Today was supposed to be hectic, then wasn't, then it TOTALLY was. Heather and I thought we had a whole lot of tapes to log really fast today because they needed to be sent out to be transcribed. I've heard iPods suck, and that other MP3 players are better. I know three people who opted for a different brand over an iPod. But who knows, I'm sure you've done your research.

Get a Dell DJ cause that's what I have and it rocks! hehe

As for the 5,000 songs thing... you're right, you'll probably never have that many songs. BUT, the good thing is that you can store files on an iPod or Dell DJ, like documents and pictures and things. Like if you're ever afraid your comp might crash or you just want to take some stuff off it... that space can hold anything, not just songs. So that's cool, hehe.
