On Friday I drove down to The Big City for a meeting, which was in fact a useful and interesting meeting but was also and more importantly an excellent excuse to hang out with some of the cool people who live in said city.

1) My Serenity DVD arrived today. It arrived without any kind of insert, which is weird, but hey, it's really the disc I'm after anyway.

1a) The postal delivery folks - and the FedEx guy and both UPS drivers - are all wearing santa hats today. Unbelievably cute.

Deep Discount DVD loves me and wants me to be happy. Unfortunately, they apparently don't want me to get any work done.

Can you say delivery of RotK extended edition pre-order? I knew you could.

I know what my reward for a hard day's work is going to be. For about the next two weeks.

My BtVS S7 DVDs just arrived. I heart Deep Discount DVD.

And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go park myself on the couch and search for outtakes and other goodies.

Today I stopped by two of my favorite new-CD stores and got kind of a lot of stuff. I was on a mission to pick up the new Jimmy Eat World (released today) and the new Mos Def (released last week), with a list of additional stuff to look for. I got freelance pay on Friday.
