Today I stopped by two of my favorite new-CD stores and got kind of a lot of stuff. I was on a mission to pick up the new Jimmy Eat World (released today) and the new Mos Def (released last week), with a list of additional stuff to look for. Please feel free to report ASAP. ;) I can't believe I haven't picked up the Jimmy Eat World CD yet. I'm slipping.

I've only given the new Tegan & Sara CD one run-through so far. Nothing leapt out at me immediately but I'm not writing it off yet either. Once is not enough to fully appreciate most CDs. Sometimes once is too much. I'm looking at you, Mandalay.

Ahhhh! Yesterday was the 19th! I was a little bit busy. I guess it's a good thing I live practically right across the street from an excellent new-CD store, so I can certainly get there even with company in town.

Well... would you be willing to settle for a list with a mere "good/bad/indifferent" note attached? I was aspiring to fuller annotations, but that's just... not gonna happen at this point. I do have the Ten Best starred, at least.
