Hello, and welcome to my blog. I've been keeping a journal here since July, 2003, which is far longer than I ever managed to keep a paper journal. In addition to my personal entries, I may do some genealogy blogging from time to time, to keep track of my family history research. Hi there! I found your journal because you gave your LJ name out on Shakesville, and I am Indie Goddess there. I'm just getting back into actually keeping a journal here, and usually my stuff is up at my blog which is linked from my main LJ page, but I am excited to have Shakers on my flist and now feel like there's a *reason* for me to post more often. :)

Hi there!

I was browsing the LJs (under the criterion 'literature') and yours was the third LJ I clicked on. Loreena McKennitt listed under interests bought me, to tell you the truth. I might be dropping by again sometime soon (sometime not being 2AM, like now :D)

Here because angelamermaid said she got the chance to meet you this weekend! So you must be people worth meeting, QED. =) I unfortunately did not make the stars align so I could meet Angela in the flesh, damn shame since she was visiting only about an hour's drive away.

Thanks so much for your message! (And of course, I've added you back). :) It was great meeting Angela face-to-face (I've known her for something like 6 years online, which made it extra wonderful to finally see her in person). The good news is that I think we (Kimberly and I) convinced her to come back again next year, for a longer visit. So, MORE ANGELA YAY! :)

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to getting to know you via LJ (and possible in real life; if you live close to SF, then we're neighbors, too - I'm in Sonoma County). I'm not on LJ all that much these days, but I do try and pop in now and then. :)

Hi! I'm glad you found me, and I've added you back. YAY for finding another Shaker within "shouting" distance, and thanks for the offer of the scone - that sounds delicious! I'm not as active on LJ as I was a couple of years ago, but I am trying to pop in now and then, and I look forward to your entries, and getting to know you better. :)
