came across your blog b/c you were commenting about math mojo and using an abax. we have 2-year-old twins and i'm trying to think through ways of beginning to teach them to identify numbers and sequence them (1, 2, 3...) but then how to move on from there. the abax looks fascinating so i ordered that for them for later - we may be living out of the country for a year when they are 3 so best to order some materials earlier and take them with us. if you'd love to share your experience with math mojo i'd love to hear what you have to say! orangegirl at gmail.
