oh i seriously adore this fic. i love how you place jae's heart right out there and yunho is so protective but has to step back. i loved the interactions and the push/pull of want and need :)

Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed this story, and my first attempt at a darker theme... Now it's done in its own un-finished way, i think i'll miss it.

New reader, yay! glad to have you. The ending takes some getting used to, but it ties in with the fact that the story isn't neat and it can't be tied up with a bow. I'm glad you liked it - thanks for dropping by!

That's what I was going for - a true-to-life depiction, where we don't really know what the future holds.

don't say that about hyejunnie - the fun is in untangling him ^^ [just like stupid yoosu. GAH.]

I was an ending... it just didn't end. ANd the yunjae was resolved. look at this:

Yunho replaced the pictures in the envelope. “If…” he paused, collecting his thoughts. “Jae’s strong,” he began again, “but you - you distract him. He loses focus, and becomes wrapped up in you. And I can’t let that happen. If you were clean, maybe. But now…” Yunho looked at Hyejun, an apology clear in his eyes.

That's the reason Ho didn't want Jae to go to the hospital. That, and he's jealous as all hell. And Jae knows this and understands, and it's ok. Because while he does still love Hyejun, it's in the past. Yunho is now, and immediate. - Or at least that's how it all works in my head ^^.

And i left Junnie right there because I like him as a flawed character and I couldn't bear to clean him up myself. The whole story's flawed because of that and I just can't tie up the loose ends so easily. Or rather, I don't want to.

That, and I finished this at 4am :P

Wow. I knew this would turn out more beautiful in completion. This fic is short yet gorgeously written. Jae and Yunho are great in this, as would be expected, but I have to say that I love Hyejun the most. His charisma and the frayed, rip-torn edges if his personality and of his life are intoxicating to me. I couldn't wait to read more of him. He's a much deeper character than the others; Hyejun is an unfinished character even at the because he in an unfinished person. He needs to learn how to start to fix himself in order to allow others to help fix him. I...man...I'm so sad this story has come to an un-end, but it could be no other way, ne? I love every part of it.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! And i think you explained my end better than I could - Hyejun is essentially flawed, but at heart he's a good person. I'm glad you 've come to love him as much as I did. This story tried to become Hyejun's story, that's how caught up I became in him.

Anyway - I'm glad you stuck around until the un-end (I like how you say that 8D). And i hope you'll stay tuned for more.

Squee, due to my...LJ break I looked at this and went 'huh'? And then realized I still needed to read part 2. 8D After that, however, everything flowed beautifully together and the gorgeous-ness of this is amazing. :D

I applaud you~ And I guess I'm used to endings like this...though it does tug at me a little inside, I think you pulled it off very well. 8D
