Today I went Christmas-shopping at Walmart (unsuccessfully) and while browsing through the so-called art section, I ran into a boy that was in Agnew's Drama class with me sophomore year, David Parker, and his brother. Dreams: Exhibit A. I've gone to France and spent a whole day walking around aimlessly only to find out that we're leaving for home immediately thereafter. Oh, yeah. Yesterday I was watching Pop-Up Video on VH1 Classic (!) and they played the video for "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS, which was shot in Prague. And you could see several of the places I visited while I was there. It made me feel really cool.

I forgot to mention that on Tuesday, my sister woke up early to go buy Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest on DVD before she went to school and we watched it that night. It was my first time seeing it. Definitely pretty epic and entertaining. Very good. But I was a bit perturbed by some of the excessively sci-fi aspects of it, and its ( Read more... )

I was deathly ill over the weekend for some reason and spent its entirety on the couch watching "America's Next Top Model," Sky High, Paper Moon and The Lake House with my sister. The Lake House is one of my new favourite movies. It was freaking BEAUTIFUL. It reminded me so much of The Time Traveler's Wife in so many places. I loved it ( Read more... )
