I forgot to mention that on Tuesday, my sister woke up early to go buy Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest on DVD before she went to school and we watched it that night. It was my first time seeing it. Definitely pretty epic and entertaining. Very good. But I was a bit perturbed by some of the excessively sci-fi aspects of it, and its ending without any solution whatsoever. I can't wait to see the last one, although I have to say I am worried that the storyline will go all cuckoo.
The past few days have been alright. Yesterday I didn't do anything at all. I live for my days between babysitting jobs. I babysat Isabelle for TWELVE HOURS today. 8:30 to 8:30. Fed her all three meals, put her down for a nap, and put her to bed. It was kind of fun getting to play with her for so long though. And on the plus side I realized I'd make a great mom. I can swing a baby onto my hip and still manage to function with both hands to clean up messes, fix food, all that jazz. And you know, I never realized how bad babies are for the environment. They go through so many diapers in one day, it's repulsive.
But when she lay down to take a nap, I was able to watch Million Dollar Baby, which was great, but a little overhyped if you want my opinion, and FINALLY finish Tess of the D'Urbervilles, which ended not at all as I expected. It's rather dark, but still maintains its romanticism. It's very good.
Anyway next week I babysit for three more days and then I'm DONE, which is perfect because I'll be able to spend all of Christmas break with my friends who are down from college. And just this week alone I was paid $115, so that's pretty awesome.
Yeah. So. No deep philosophical thoughts from me tonight.
