Bold for stuff you’ve done, italics for stuff you plan to do one day, and normal for stuff you’re not planning on doing.

Afghan - I'm a small way through one and it is a long term project, shelved at the moment!
I-cord - I made a handbag handle using i-cord.
Garter stitch
Knitting with metal wire - no thanks, that sounds painful!

I'd love to "be a knitter" but I'm awful at any kind of habit-forming, I just don't do it. I have a hat I started ages ago and I'm not doing a thing with it. I should do *something*.

You may be just knitting the wrong thing. If you don't want the finished item, you don't get on and knit more of it.

Reading this kind of thing makes me wish I could knit, and I start wondering how to learn. Then I remember the stack of cross-stitch stuff I want to do at some point and haven't ... (This includes a wedding present for friends who were married ten years ago and my leaving-Durham present to myself.)
