Hello all! I've been lurking around this comm for awhile, and I thought that I'd announce the fact that I've officially joined up with a spork of my very own. I stumbled across this little gem of a badfic last week and thought it would be perfect for my first post...

I've actually seen this one before! FF.Net seems to be spawning a lot of "Girl-on-the-Flying-Dutchman" stories lately...I've even got a quote related to that on my profile.

*eyes bleed from OOC Davy Jones* ;_; Noooo! Davy, what have they DONE to you?! *wails in misery, gnashes teeth*....yeah, I'm a fangirl. Shoot me.

There's a MUCH better story than this fanfic on FF.net; it's called "Tears of the Sea". The beginning might sound Mary-Sueish (The girl's name is Lancie, and she got blown off the Black Pearl in a huge storm), but as the story goes on, it gets better and better! In my opinion, it's the only fic where a girl's on the Flying Dutchman that stands out than the others.

I've just reread your spork. I must say, that your style of sporking is very entertaining to read; have you sporked MAry Sues before?

"Ye have to kiss Maccus." Thre was a series of "Oohs." and gasping laughed from the crewmen standing around them. Ok, really? REALLY? What are they, twelve-year-old girls???

I think I have a theory for that...the Sue stole their supply of TESTOSTERINE!

Thank you! I've never sporked badfic before... though I have had movie marathons with my friends where we all sat around and made snarky comments about the films we were watching, so I guess that's kind of like practice. XP

LOL, you may be right. It's all part of her evil plan to take over the Caribbean and ruin cannon forever! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I loved this spork! You are awesome and your style made me laugh the entire time.

"I, uh, I'm physic?" That one line made my night I swear! No, she's not psychic; she's physic (Literally, she's Newton's 3rd Law. Didn't you know? *snort*). Oh how I love badfic!

"Elizabeth Williams. You can call me Beth for short, Captain." She said awkwardly addressing him. It's so hard to write on slimey squid men. But it had to be done, as no one would make boxes for packages of this size for another 200 years. And she had to mail him out soon, or her relatives in Spain wouldn't get their Christmas present on time. I love that!

I had my share of water buckets dumped on me. Yes, you just read that correctly. The worst thing that’s happened to her so far is that someone dumped a bucket of water on her head.Of coarse they got in trouble for it. Davy was obviously in no hurry to go after the chest. For some reason a wet t-shirt contest come to my mind here. And Davy was in no hurry to go after her chest, lol!
