   I got something done today: I baked an apple pie with rhubarb jam. I haven't tasted it yet, because I can't get anything more dow for at least an hour after my dinner.    That was a birthday party to remember:). There were nine kids there, between 1 and 8 years of age, and even more grown-ups. We had a good time, although there wasn't a lot of room, and I think the birthday girl had the time of her life.
