Oh they have stretch marks and cellulite - the powers of air-brushing and body make-up.

Lol, oh I'm sure a lot of them do, but there are the lucky few who dont (Hell, I used to know some seriously big girls who don't have a bit of either and it made me so sick, lol. I was thinner than them and had stretch marks and they had none... that said, I still like my figure better than to wish it was the other way around, so whatever, lmao)

Eurgh yes. I swear, I wouldn't trade myself for somebody else (... if you get what I'm saying) but sometimes it's honestly like I got cursed with all the best of the suck-tastic things you could have, lol. Fat WITH all the acoutrements (like the stretchmarks and cellulite) my entire life, like... birth on. Had LITERALLY the worst skin I think anybody in my school had (thank GOD it cleared up to a more or less average level around 18, but the damage of scarring was already done), oily hair/face, pale skin but not a pretty pale, the kind where you look like you're dying of some terminal illness (I hate tans though so I'm not tanning this skin of mine), and, to top it off, terrible smile and absolutely never had a hope of affording braces, lmao ( ... )

lol. i know what you mean. i worked at lane bryant, and the huge posters of the models on the walls in their underwear made me sick. fortunately, i also worked at lane bryant and saw the real women that shopped at the stores. many of them with more confidence than me. i got over a lot of my body issues when i worked there.

Well the thing is I've never really HAD body issues. I mean... I don't ENJOY being fat but for the most part it's just because of the things I can't do. Like, I can't run very far or fast without being out of breath, I can't jump for SHIT... I'm not a very active person (at all) but I hate that when I WANT to do stuff (like running around playing with my siblings) I'm lucky if I make it 100 meters without having to slow to a jog ( ... )

i understand the healthier aspect. i've lost over 100 pounds, and still can't do sit-ups. i can run now, though and that's a big deal to me. it takes a lot of work to be healthy.

and as for being a flat chested size 14... *raises hand* b cup, right here. i lost all my boobs, they were the first thing to go. :*-(

have you tried low-rise stretch jeans with lycra in them? i have some rider brand jeans from wal-mart. they're great.

The jeans I used to wear when I was a 12 were riders and they were pretty nice. The ones I have now are supposed to be made for a big ass (low rise with the gapless back) and they still are annoyingly high in the front ( ... )

I'm good on the size but I'd have to wear a 7 or 8 inch heel to be 5'11 LMAO..I can't even walk in 4 1/2 inch heels... *faceplant*

Hugs,
Tori<3333

P.s wait, so does a size 10/11 count as a plus size model??

Usually it's 12/14/16 and then normal models are 0/2/4 ... so those in the middle 6/8/10 are kinda fucked I guess, lol.

And I can't walk in heels. I mean, I CAN walk in up to about a 3 inch heel but I WOULDN'T because I have weak ankles and I can just IMAGINE all the rolled ankles.

Besides, Idk what the big deal is with heels... sure they make your legs look nice, but if you wear them too much you'll have a bad back for the rest of your life... why the fuck do that?

*has this philosophy on 'no amount of pretty is worth REAL pain'*

What's that old saying? 'Pain is Beauty'...fuck that..I'd rather be ugly for the rest of my life than have to deal with that bullshit...

Okay so I wouldn't be a plus size model, I'd be a "forget about it cuz it ain't happenin'" model?? Damn, and I was sure I'd get some good pay too LOL

If I had been one of the lucky tall girls (unless youre breathedeep222 and wants to be short) and had gotten lucky without cellulite and stretchmarks, you can BELIEVE I'd have been hitting up agents. Bad skin is fixable by makeup and photoshop... they can book me in things I don't have to smile for, lmao. You can BELIEVE that ( ... )
