Before the meal, she sat on the couch with a glass of wine. Her mind was on the ornament Lucifer gave her. She was somewhat thankful for that distraction as having Castiel in the same room was also awkward.
The meal was delicious, as always, and afterwards she volunteered to help clean the dishes. It gave her a good excuse not to mingle.

"Thank you, I made them from scratch with that recipe Kerai gave me." It'd been good to have something to focus on. Cas smiled slightly. "All of your food was delicious, though. Especially the pies."
Cas wondered if Mary remembered her time here when she had been aged down and pregnant.

"Thanks." Mary smiled. "I like to bake and the men in this family like to eat, so it works out well otherwise I'd probably end up really fat." She chuckled a little.
