Elijah had slept most of the day, waking near sundown, which was highly unusual for him. He missed class, but he found he...didn't really care. Mostly, he was hungry. There was blood in the fridge and he knew where to find a human or two who didn't mind being snacks, but...that didn't really appeal. He was hungry. He wanted to hunt, wanted the

Instead she just stepped back, inclined her head to him in greeting. "Pardon my distraction, sir."

He stepped back as well and executed a little bow on instinct. "Of course, Your Majesty." His gaze raked over her, a little speculative. Never before would it even have occurred to him to think of preying on a monarch, but he wasn't thinking so clearly tonight.

"To what do I owe the pleasure?"
She was a little too locked in her own selfish desires to notice how he looked at her, for how much she was looking back. Another handsome one, or so she thought to herself. Perhaps she could sate herself just with looking.

"Be right back." She grinned, sliding away from the guy who flashed her a disappointed scowl but she didn't even notice.
Working her way over to the bar, she waved at the woman to order herself a couple more shots. She was wishing that Faye had come out but she couldn't even remember if she had invited her new/old friend or not.
Letting out a little cheer which got her a few cheers in response, she grabbed her first shot and tossed it back before reaching for the other with a shiver.

He noticed Melissa halfway watching her dance, but when she brushed by him on her way back to the bar, his attention was fully caught. Witch. ...And for some reason she smelled a bit like Faye.
Some part of his brain processed that Faye had mentioned a new roommate, but he wasn't really paying attention to any part of his brain right now.
Instead, he just decided she smelled good, right, and moved after her, sliding up to the bar casually and leaning against it as he gave her a smile.
"Having fun?"

Flashing him a little smirk, she angled her body towards him, tilting her head to the side as she nodded. "Yeah, so far. It could get better though."

"Things can always get better," he agreed with a smile. "I'm fairly certain my night just did."

She was hoping he was home because all she wanted to do was curl up and use him as a pillow at the moment. She would have used Elijah but he had disappeared somewhere and she had no idea where. She couldn't even bring up the energy to text him at the moment. Maybe Damon would do it.

He smiled when he saw Rebekah, pleased she'd come by and stepped back.
"Hello, sweetheart."

Almost instantly she went straight for his couch, yawning a bit as she flopped down. "Tried to find Elijah but he was gone." She waited to see if he was going to sit down with her. If and once he did, she instantly curled up against his side, her head going to his shoulder. Apparently she was lazy and wanting cuddles at the moment.

In fact, a lot of things were seeming a bit too restrictive or constrictive for her today -- including her closing.
She found something a little more fitting of her mood and brushed her hair before she headed outside. Maybe a walk would clear her head or find something for her to pay more attention to.

He caught sight of Phoebe as she walked by and smirked a little. He knew who she was from Damon, and knew she was a witch. He was terribly fond of witch-blood, come to think of it.
Pushing to a stand, he followed her, watching her consideringly.

She came to a stop and turned around to get a better look at the person behind her.

"Good evening."

Of course, people weren't exploding or fighting one another; zombies or whatever hadn't appeared, but...he'd been worried about Faye and checked up on her. Elijah and Rebekah? Well, he could track them down to see if they were...okay: but if they weren't, certainly he'd of heard about it? Maybe. Who really knew.
He spotted Elijah on the street and his brother's overall appearance had him...nervous. It was weird, being nervous about Elijah, but maybe he's just decided to loosen up a little? Moving toward him, Klaus started speaking before he reached him. "What brings you out tonight, lingering in the streets, brother?"

One shoulder shrugged under the black t-shirt, though when he smiled a touch of predatory darkness lingered in his eyes.
"Fangtasia isn't open, yet. And I was...searching for dinner. Care to join me?"
Klaus, at least, knew how to have fun.

Of course, he also felt a flicker of wanting to go along with Elijah, because how could be turn down hunting with his older brother? But, his chest tightened a little at the thought of how he wasn't supposed to be wanting to do that. It was difficult, feeling enabled to spring back into second-nature, but something holding him back. Knowing that there was something off with some of the people in town added to his hesitancy too.
"I thought you were drinking from blood bags rather than people," he stated with a tone of question, looking Elijah over.

He made a face at the question. "Hardly. I mean, supplementing, of course, but...I don't have a girlfriend who freaks out at the idea of me drinking from people."
The slight mocking there? So really not Elijah's normal reaction to things.
