Elijah had slept most of the day, waking near sundown, which was highly unusual for him. He missed class, but he found he...didn't really care. Mostly, he was hungry. Both her room and P3 had seemed a little too closed in for Phoebe's comfort.

Elijah was leaning against a building, watching people as they walked. Anyone would do, of course, but he liked to think he was occasionally more particular than that.

Pushing to a stand, he followed her, watching her consideringly.

Phoebe felt that someone was behind her, but since she was out to find something -- or someone -- she wasn't particularly worried. After a few moments, she turned her head to look behind her and gave a small smile when she spotted him.

She came to a stop and turned around to get a better look at the person behind her.

Elijah noted her watching him, and smiled a little bit when she turned.

She smiled wider and lifted an eyebrow.

"And good evening to you as well," she said. "Out enjoying the evening air?"

"Something like that," Elijah said with a half smile. Really, it could have been miserable out and he wouldn't have cared.

She gave him another smile and looked around them for a moment.

"It is a very nice night."

Elijah arched an eyebrow, glancing around, then back to her.

"I suppose it is."
