Elijah had slept most of the day, waking near sundown, which was highly unusual for him. He missed class, but he found he...didn't really care. Mostly, he was hungry. There was blood in the fridge and he knew where to find a human or two who didn't mind being snacks, but...that didn't really appeal. He was hungry. He wanted to hunt, wanted the

Faye had been so cranky. And Klaus had taught her a little too well.
Nothing a bit of blood wouldn't fix. He shut the door quietly, leaning against it for a moment, hands shoved into his jeans pockets.
"Rough night?"
[ooc: Saying it's Sat morning okay? I figure best to space people out a bit for some sort of timing issue. >.>]

He held up the pot.
"Coffee?"

He stopped just shy of getting too close and leaned against the counter. "Sure. Thanks."

Tonight she'd picked one of the black dresses, a halter tied at the back of her neck and her hair hung in loose, thick curls down to her shoulders. Even if she's going to the place she works, it almost feels like she's going out for some fun.

He was at the bar with a drink when he saw Sookie come in. His gaze swept over her and he remembered how...sweet she'd been. He had a few ideas of how she could be sweet again--starting with just why Eric had been so obsessed with her blood.
He made his way through the crowd to her. "Good evening, Sookie."

When they come together it's in the middle of the room, with a few dozen patrons milling about. The night has just started, and she knows there are mixed hungers in the air. But it doesn't frighten her. Sookie doesn't scare easily.
"I didn't know you were coming in tonight." Her smile is proof that she's pleased by it.

"It seemed like a good idea for the night." He was hungry, there were people to eat here. It wasn't that hard of an equation.

He'd been a little concerned about Damon since their last conversation, the vampire seeming rather frustrated with his life in the village.
Still, unusual as it was, perhaps a quiet evening staying home was just the thing.
Arriving at Damon's door, Cedric knocked.

He smiled when he saw Cedric. "Hey, come on in."

That was probably not anything he'd ever said before.

He'd just accepted there wasn't much he could do about it, except sit at the bar and keep an eye on her.
So that's what he did, overprotective idiot that he was...tonight seemed odd, though, odder than usual. Some of the regulars were absent, and there were new faces that, really, just didn't fit in with the club's atmosphere.
Huh.

He just thought he looked...interesting sitting there. A bit lonely, a bit vulnerable. A bit perfect, really.
Elijah moved down to sit next to him. "You know, it's really close to criminal, not drinking that scotch."
Reply
"You're probably right about that," he admitted, and gamely picked up the glass to take a ship. Good scotch was incredibly hard to come by in his time. Just one of the many things he should be enjoying here, and yet took for granted. "I suppose if I'm going to order something to stare at, I should order something less expensive."
Reply
...Not that he really was certain he had a best friend, really, but.
"Less expensive or just less...desirable. Bud Light or something--no one will remark on your not drinking that swill."

Ah, but the uptight ones, forced to unwind into reality... They were Desire's favorite. Usually laced up so tight, when they truly let loose it was a sight to behold. A bigger splash than any boozing, whoring playboy prince could ever make.
That might be why it trailed Elijah as he stalked the streets, prowling around corners all hunger and instinct.

He paused when he spotted the figure there, head tilting and gaze turning more speculative.

Leaning comfortably against a wall, she lit a cigarette with his heart-shaped lighter before deigning to wave lazily at the hungry vampire.
What a night, hm?

"Good evening."
