Olivia had noticed Walter's name missing from the directory when she'd got ready to type him a message. Her little address book that she had the people she messaged all the time in there was one short. Olivia had gone to Peter's room after making sure that Braeden was enjoying himself at the retrocade. When she didn't find him there she thought that she'd try Walter's lab since Olivia wasn't really sure when or where Walter had left.

The first thing that greeted her was Gene's lowly mooing and then she noticed the tray that held coffee. It wasn't until she was further in the room that she saw Peter with his back against the wall.

"Hey." She said softly. "I thought I'd find you here. You okay?"

Peter looked up when he heard Olivia's voice, though he had registered her entrance before that. He paused for a brief moment before nodding. "Yeah."

He glanced down at his sidekick again before putting it away in his pocket and pushing off the wall. "I should have known Walter went back home when I had a full night's sleep."

“You couldn’t have known.” She said with a slight smile and moved across the lab to stand closer to him. “He could have spent the night in the lab working on something.”

What Olivia said was true, but it didn't stop Peter from feeling like he had be slighted some how.

"I bet Walter is upset he didn't find a way home before the village did." His lips pressed with a somewhat wry, though a little sour, smile.
