Bishop Legacy (ota, tag Olivia)
In one had was a white box from the bakery with a dozen doughnuts and one danish and in the other hand was a tray of two coffees. One was regular and the other was toffee and gingerbread - a combination which had even the woman at the cafe look at him oddly. Somehow, even though his hands were full, Peter was able to navigate through the college and into his father's lab.
He entered backwards, pushing the door open with his back. "Walter, they didn't have any jelly filled left so I got you some Boston Cream --"
When Peter turned around, he was greeted with an empty lab. The machines and material were still there. So was Gene. But Walter Bishop was missing from the equation.
"Walter?" Peter found the nearest flat surface to deposit the tray of coffee and walked further into the lab with the box of doughnuts. It was sort of like holding a bag of treats to get a dog's attention.
"Fresh doughnuts." He raised his voice a little so that it would carry throughout the room in case his father was doing something that caused him to be hidden from sight.
When there was no answer, Peter places the box of doughnuts down and pulled out his sidekick. He scrolled through the names twice before Peter leaned back against the wall.
His father's name was no longer listed in the system.
