Room 474, Thinking And Surprises (Tag to Stefan, but open to all TVD pups)
Elena was humming softly under her breath after she sent the message to Bonnie. Things were nice and peaceful and being in the village had change her in a lot of good ways.
She was alive for one thing. That was one of the best things about the last year and a half here in the village. She was alive and she had two of her three favorite people in the village with her. Honestly, she didn't know what she would do if Bonnie and Damon ever disappeared on her. It was because of those two that she didn't fall apart when they lost Stefan to the Village's whims.
Stefan, the fourth person who would make whatever it was that she had with Bonnie and Damon feel complete.
She hadn't completely understood certain things until she killed Katherine to protect Damon and Stefan. Of course, before she could put her feelings and thoughts into words, she had died for the second time.
The dying thing really kept putting a crimp in her plans.
Getting up from her desk, she put on some music and then set about making her bed and cleaning the room. She had no plans today and it gave her something to do instead of thinking.
