Good times [OTA]

Dean was a happy camper. A very happy camper actually. He was the coach of a female roller derby team and that conjured up all kinds of lovely images. Lucky for the girls, Dean had been a coach at a school before. Okay the job had lasted as long as the ghost had been terrifying the school but still, he had experience ( Read more... )

Faith had been on her way to the cafe when she saw the guy walking out of the comic book store, comics in hand, and grinning like an idiot. Okay, he was far too attractive to be into comic books. Maybe he was mentally challenged or something. She smiled at him as she passed and looked down at the comics, clearly mocking, "Get any good ones?"

[[ooc: would they have met because he's the coach of her roller derby team? I wasn't sure, so I just assumed they hadn't met]]

Dean had noticed the hot brunette as soon as he walked out of the store. He was good like that.

At her question, he smirked in answer. "Oh yeah." Dean held up the latest Zatanna issue. "Hot woman in fishnet. Comics, gotta love 'em."

[ooc: That's very cool. I'm not sure how far it has got with teams and stuff so vague is good. *g*]

Faith smirked as she eyed the cover, "You don't strike me as the comic type. What with your lack of adult acne and apparent social skills..."

"That's a Winchester for you, defying stereotype." Comics and movies had been his escape as a kid but he'd never admit to it. "You're never too old to appreciate a beautiful woman." True, he preferred magazines like Busty Babe but this wasn't so bad an alternative.

He held out his hand. "Name's Dean."

Blame it on her short attention span, but Slack was unable to actually finish a full length novel these days. Therefore, rather than going to the library to check out books, Slack instead opted to go to the comic book store, lured by the episodic nature of the comic books as well as the plethora of pictures and illustrations that made the storylines all the more interesting to read.

Stepping inside the comic store, Slack grinned when she saw Dean Winchester looking through the comics and strolled right on up to him, glancing down to see which of the comics he was reading. "Hey Coach. You got any recommendations for me?"

[ooc: I figured that since he was their team coach that she would know him, if only in passing, if that's okay. Just thought her calling him "Coach" instead of Dean was rather cute. LOL]

Dean looked up from the recent Wonder Woman issue to see one of his girls. He would never get tired of thinking that. "Hey. Depends on what you like." That could have been a double entendre, the odds were pretty good it was but he also was sincere in the statement in regard to comics.

{*g* It was rather cute and Dean appreciates it. ;)]

"Hmm....something with less cleavage, thanks," she replied, looking down at the issue of Wonder Woman in his hands before gazing up at him again, an amused grin tugging up the corners of her mouth. "For obvious reasons, you know. But no skimping on the action front. Action's important."

Sifting through a box of comics, Slack pulled out one with a rather interesting cover and flipped through it. The character design was interesting, and the illustrations were high quality. So far, so good. "What do you think of this one?" she asked, showing him the comic. "Have you ever read this one before?"

Dean looked at the comic that she'd found and then back at her. "Yeah? You like action?" That wasn't said in a flirtatious way at all but in a common bond familiarity. "I'm a fan, mostly in movies. That's a good one. Have you seen the movie Aliens?"

As he asked the question, he bent down to another box next to hers and thumbed through it. Big mistake, because four comics in he found something that made his skin turned cold. Dean was seriously was going to choke Chuck.

Yuri had reasons for checking out the comic store every so often. Making sure nothing with that name* was on the shelves... They'd been in the village for how long and no disasters had happened? Nothing that could be traced to them. Not even like at home, and really none of it was their fault--accidents, cleared every time.

So when that guy Dean happened to be in there standing far too close to images that might be recognizable,** she pushed out her chest a la Kei, smiled widely, and acted.

"Well, hello there!" She smiled then made a very obvious mock-frown. "I saw you were going to be coaching one of the roller derby teams, and not the one Kei and I are on. Very disappointed that you're going to be losing those matches."

She winked.

*The Dirty Pair
**Pick whichever cover you like, but I was thinking of Sim Hell. That's where they come after, so Start the Violence, Fatal But Not Serious, and Run From the Future have not happened yet.

Of course anything with hell in the title is bound to catch Dean's eyes and being the recipient of your life in books and comics he can very much sympathize with the distracting techniques. Plus, he was a fan of breasts so pushing out of chest was also guaranteed to get Dean's attention.

"Want to bet on that?" He returned her wink. "I saw that my team will beat yours. Who's your coach?"

luvlianjel_yuri July 9 2010, 16:22:42 UTC
"I could bet," she said. Come on, she and Kei might have been able to take on five on their own. "Our coach is Bobby Singer. Haven't met him yet."

Hopefully, Kei wouldn't think he was hot. Yuri lowered her voice.

"You know Kei can take a beating and keep on keeping on, right?" She smiled ingenuously. What, he'd slept with Kei, not that they'd actually slept. She'd had to deal with guys the morning after, and they weren't always in the best shape, the poor things. Most of them got pancakes.

"Bobby?" Oh their team was going down. No way would he let Bobby win. "Yeah, he's the original owner of the Salvage Yard, back in my world. Singer's Salvage is Bobby." Also, was a thought of seeing Bobby deal with Kei and he smirked at the thought. She was a female Dean. It would be fun.

Although she owned quite a few pairs of fishnet stockings, Wendy wasn't dressed in them as she trailed the man by a few steps. Instead, with the heat largely taken into consideration, she was just wearing a black bikini top, ripped up, paint splatted short shorts, and flip flops. Smoke free as she had run out of cigarettes and rolling paper, she was heading to the shop.

She didn't really want to be out, but necessities were necessities.

"Nice to know I'm not the only crazy one to leave the comfort of air condition in this heat." She remarked as she grew closer in proximity.

Another reason for Dean to just love summer weather. Women in less clothes.

"I've never been accused of being sane. I know what brought me out in the hot weather but why'd you leave the comfort of air?"

"Nothin' to smoke, and nothin' to roll up either with so my oral fixation trumps the heat. Plus, I don't think it's good to hide away anywhere too long." Wendy replied honestly.

Dean's mind, of course, went into the gutter with the oral fixation comment.

"Someone as pretty as you, definitely shouldn't stay hidden away but I get the need to get rid of the restless feeling. One thing I hate about this place is the being stuck here. This is the longest I've stayed in one place since I was four years old."

And his feet were itching to leave.

"That'll be...$12.75."

Mike glances down at Dean's purchases.

"And might I say, yours is a legendary taste?"

Dean pulled out his wallet and handed over the amount to Mikey. "Right? You can't go wrong with these."
