I think a big part of why I don't post here is that I created this journal for a specific purpose, and named it accordingly, and for various reasons it no longer seems appropriate to me. Many of my friends are changing their journal names, and I'd kind of like to change mine, but I don't know what to change it to -- I feel like anything would stop ( Read more... ) -
School, and things like that.
It is my first day of classes. I have had three out of four, and am in the computer lab waiting for the fourth to start. One course I'm not sure I want to take. I wasn't super-keen on the subject matter, and after the first class I am definitely not keen on the prof: rude, occasionally incoherent, and possibly insane/deranged/delusional. ( Read more... ) -
Web Design
I just got my grade back for the web design class I took last month -- I got an "A". "A"s on all the assignments, and an "A" overall -- yay me! :) I didn't get a single extension, or hand in a single assignment late. You have no idea how good that makes me feel. I'm actually confident about going back to school this fall. -
Tired and not sleeping
I am exhausted and obsessed. I have put so much effort into my web page, and it is finished, and I should just leave it and go to bed, but I can't. I keep going back to it, trying to make it better. The prof said today not to stress, I know I'm going to ace the course -- him saying that makes me nervous rather than reassuring me. He has high ( Read more... ) -
Therapy

triggers everywehre
Someone committed suicide in the parking lot outside my work yesterday. This is upsetting in itself. Two of my co-workers have had close family or friends commit suicide, and the stress and negative energy were tangible. I don't want to go to work today. And it just never ends.
On Saturday I had something along the lines of a nervous breakdown. I was sent home from work before even starting work. Thankfully, only my manager witnessed the breakdown, but I still hate am having anyone at work see me go through this. The up side is that even though I am not covered by our health plan, I am eligible for the employee care ( Read more... ) -
Even good things have their bad aspects.
Jesse has finally signed up for the information group for partners of survivors at the Sexual Assault centre. The start date is September 22nd. Happy Birthday to me, I guess. -
I don't understand people.
If a pet store had puppies and kittens that were so thin you could see their ribs, they would be shut down. If they kept puppies and kittens together in enclosures that were too small for even one to be happy, and as a result the puppies and kittens were biting and injuring each other, causing harm that could be fatal, there would be public ( Read more... )
