As ordered requested, I am putting together a brief overview of the Oscars. Red carpet, that is. Have to say on the actual ceremony, heard that Beyonce ended up singing 'Listen', the big showpiece song of Dreamgirls. I am completely shocked if this true. Surprised beyond belief.

(Am continually amazed at how many women can wear ugly UGLY dresses to these posh dos. It's almost like they don't bother to look in the mirror before they leave the house)

I really don't know how. I wonder with the younger ones that with something particularly bad, they think they're making a 'statement' and showing 'personality'. Either that, or they're afraid of offending the designer. As for the more established ones, I just don't know. *g*

I am now firmly convinced that I am the only person on the globe to really love Kirten Dunst's dress. I really liked Gwyneth's dress and Penelope Cruz's dress too -- that detailed geometric-styled bodicework really appeals to me, clearly.

Reese Witherspoon totoally owned the red carpet, though.

I am torn with Penelope Cruz's dress, it has to be said. I think that's because it is so dramatic.

Reese's dress was indeed lovely, and not a shade seen often.

Perhaps controversially, I loved Nicole's dress! :)
