12th Annual SAG Awards, Red Carpet

Alas, there is nowhere near the same level of pictureness for the Screen Actors Guild awards, which is a shame as a few dresses I adored I cannot find a photo of them. For example, Maggie Grace from Lost - I saw her wearing a stunning dress, but only for about two seconds and I can find no pic of it. *remembers about Getty* Hmm, now I see a Read more... )

Marcia redeems herself! Hurrah! But whose idea was it that all the Desperate Housewives should go in complementing dresses? Because that idea sucks all the things ever. I don't mind Reese's dress, actually, though it could definitely do without the straps.

Ziyi Zhang chooses a decent colour for her this time, whilst Anne Hathaway is merely hilarious.

I approve of Clooney's get-up. Sandra Bullock, though, gets a NO.

I imagine there's a DH stylist somewhere cackling madly away.

Maggie Grace from Lost - Ooh. I do like that.

George Clooney - I want his clothes. Failing that, I'll take Daniel Dae Kim's.

Anne Hathaway - OMG her face is plasterede on yay!

Sandra Bullock - that style is far too young for her, perhaps.

Zhang Ziyi - looking as lovely as ever, and like you say, nice to see something a bit different to all the other dresses.

Teri Hatcher - the top half is definitely a bad look, aye. Don't see too much wrong with the bottom half, though.

What's with the Kim love, you goes? That suit, y'know, like, doesn't fit him. The fabrics don't go together, either. He got it from Walmart 10 minutes before showtime, kids!

I dunno, I think Reese's piece is (see? See what I did there? Huh?) not so bad this time - I quite like it (not sure whether it's red carpet material, but it looks good on her, IMO). The rest, we agree on :)

When it comes to Reese and the red carpet, I'm always distracted by her stupid hair. Why does she always have to wear it back like that?

You'd prefer it properly up, or down?

In general, I tend to prefer it when girls wear their hear down. Up can look good too, if done properly and not in some stupid quiff-looking way.

I take it that's a "yes" to the dress, then? :)

The dress is fine but it's really more about the hair and possibly the bra.

Strictly speaking, it's not actually about the bra either, is it?
