Uh, then how was Andromache and Hector's son (whose name I can't remember right now) thrown from the walls of Troy to his death? Which I'm certain was talked about in the Odyssey.
Or, for that matter, how did Hector and Achilles' duel end up with them going around the walls of Troy nine times? Plus the Greeks got them to drag that horse inside the walls, because there was no other way to get inside Troy.
See, you said mythical Troy, not historical earlier. And I was going with mythical myself because, well, more fun! Historical Troy's a whole different ballpark. :)
So I've watched like, maybe 4 eps of Highlander in my entire life, but this cross-over was awesome. Kate + sword = Love. Actually this whole fic = love. Much love. Cranky Elizabeth makes me laugh and Ronon's comment about the entity getting ideas about his kid just cracked me up. Somehow I think Teyla and Ronon's kid is gonna be able to take care of itself no matter what.
Oh, Highlander is awesome. Not much femslash potential, unfortunately (though Amanda/Rebecca is severely awesome, and I'm not usually into mentor/student pairings), but the show itself is just so damn good that it makes up for it.
Plus there's Methos. Mmm.
Glad you liked it! And I'll e-mail you back t onight, okay?
I'll add it to my Netflix list. :) After I get done with FK. Woo hoo, onto season 2! And femslash is good, but not always required, if the show is good enough. Is Methos the one in your icon? And Yay! e-mail is always good. :)
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! It's always nice to meet a fellow fan of Kate; there aren't that many of us. (A frighteningly large portion of my fic involves Kate, usually either with John or Elizabeth, or sometimes paired with both of them.)
Highlander's an awesome series. Well, it has its moments. Plus there are the movies, though I suggest only watching the first movie and skipping the rest.
I have no plans for a sequel as yet, but I know triciabyrne1978 has plans for a prequel that she'll probably write in January.

I'm glad you liked the fic, though!

And I didn't get back to you last night as I had unexpected company and was busy socializing my heart out after Heroes.
Yes. That's Methos. I expect you'll probably adore him; he's highly awesome in many ways! He doesn't show up 'til season three, unfortunately.
