[Well, since Rex works in the infirmary, it's bound to happen. He's on gruntwork duty at the moment, which mostly means cleaning things and making sure all the infirm get their meals. So, he's wordlessly handing people their meals, mind on other things, like his sister's return, the weapons he's planning on building for Wanda... Normal stuff.

So, he's sort of half-zoned out by the time he gets to Perry's bed. He passes a tray over to him with all the love and care of a school cafeteria worker. Then, he does a double take when he realizes who the bed's occupant is. What the hell? Somebody beat him up?

Well, okay. Part of him's pretty happy to see that. The other part... not so much. It's weird. And awkward. And he doesn't like it.]

[He laughs softly.] Well, it worked for the Civil Rights movement. [Sort of. Okay, he knows it wasn't limited to just that. Then, he shakes his head.] Ardent, Coyolxauhqui-- but she's gone now-- Rhade, perhaps... Hiro. I think it could be easy to get more inmates involved, but I don't know. The others just want guns and drugs. [And Rex is SO over drugs.] The only changes we can really ask for that might even be humored are... [Scoff] 'Diversity training' and transparency.

[Rex is starting to prefer the bomb idea.]

[Perry pretty much prefered the bomb idea from the start. He shrugs.] We'd have to get more of them onboard for it to be something anyone would take seriously. [Pause.] There'd be no way to tell if the wardens were letting us see all their communications anyway, so that's transparency out the window. Who asked for diversity training?

Yeah. And knowing them, they'll just discuss everything in private, then pretend to include us off-filter. As for diversity... Ardent and Rhade, in so many words.

[Rex leans back in his chair, casting a quick look around.]

We could make an effort, though. Use it as a smokescreen, so that the wardens at least think we're focused on these little things. It may divert their attention from the bigger picture. [ALLOWING MORE ROOM FOR BOOMMMMBS.] Or, alternately, raise suspicions, make them more likely to watch us.

Yeah, if someone else started it, they'd take the warden attention. [And Rex and Perry could... try to line up ridiculous coincidences and get a bomb happening.]
