Sad news via hestia that Bass Wolf from the Band Guitar Wolf has died:

Hideaki Sekiguchi, a.k.a. Billy [Bass Wolf] has passed away by heart attack in the morning of March 31st, at the age of 38.

But even though Bass Wolf has gone, as they say in the film WILD ZERO:

Rock 'n Roll is NOT over baby,
Rock 'n Roll NEVER dies

Met up with Richgoth after work to go shopping in Chinatown. Not the most successful expedition. Was looking for a present for a 3 year old (who's having a birthday breakfast this saturday) and/or some anime merchandise for ourselves. Hurrah! Xanidu is in town for 3 days before she heads off to Melbourne. So I've taken time off work to hang. After some brekkie we headed into town to surprise J at work and take her off to lunch.

Went into town this afternoon to get some CDs with a record voucher i was given for my birthday. Buying new CDs is one of my favourite things - and not having to pay for them is even better!

I'm in a bit of a 70s krautrock phase at the moment, so i picked up:
