Met up with Richgoth after work to go shopping in Chinatown. Not the most successful expedition. Was looking for a present for a 3 year old (who's having a birthday breakfast this saturday) and/or some anime merchandise for ourselves. Struck out on both counts - and the most interesting looking stores were all closed

Where did you find the Cremaster 3 soundtrack? And have you seen the film yet? If not, do so. It's head-fucking stuff.

As for this DotD soundtrack, is that the one by Goblin for the original or is there one for the remake? Or another one entirely?

The Cremaster soundtrack was at RedEye. It was a complete fluke that I found it. I'm going to try and make the Cremaster 1&2 film session today.

The DOD soundtrack is not the Goblin score, but previously unreleased incidental music and sound effects from the original movie, which were chosen by Dario Argento.

i also have had no luck finding anime toys at Paddy's or the shops above. best i saw was a Pokemon in a games shop. :(

I'll be off to see Cremaster 3-5 for the first time this Wednesday night, will keep in mind to pay attention to the soundtrack.
