What a long day.  Got up, we got all packed, and drove back home.  Just in time to have about two hours before heading out for the Santa Run.  I, of course, was a fool and read in the car, so I would be nice and queasy.  Luckily it had mostly subsided by the time we got to the starting line.  My whole family ran it, even my dad!  And Scott too.  ( Read more... )

omg so tired.  The triathlon went well; got a 1:40, which is I think 8 minutes faster than my best time!  Pretty good since I didn't train for the last two weeks, and the bike route was pretty challenging.  Alan and Heather did the beginner race, which was half the distance of the one my mom and I did.  They both finished and got good times, though ( Read more... )

Long day.  Shopping.  All is well.  I really meant to post about all this stuff but I just want to go to bed.  =_=  I did buy some clothes, over $400 worth for only $199.  Sweet.  And I could justify it perfectly because all items were professional wear, completely office acceptable.  Cha-ching!

Here I am in Albuquerque for Fall Break.  It's been a while since we did the drive-all-day thing.  I can make an official decision now - driving all day is worse than flying all day.  Other than having an extremely unpleasant moment with a stranger on an airplane, I'd take flying pretty quick over driving.  Spent the evening at my uncle & aunt's ( Read more... )
