Tomorrow is the NE Youth Center Barbie Party fundraiser. Roomie and I are volunteering to be Table Barbies, role models and leaders of 10 girls aged 4 to 8. What started out as a little trip to Cheney to advertise the room in my apartment turned into an entire evening complete with a roadside tire-change, at 50mph drive to the valley Costco, polish dogs, fighting my garage door to open manually, tea, and a fantastic talk that really got me centered and optimistically focused.

I feel very appreciative.

Jeanine and I decided tonight that when the lease is up February 15, she won't be renewing it with me. As hard as it might be to find another roommate in the middle of winter quarter, I am feeling very good about this. Living with someone should not be so stressful as it has been these past 3 months. So I got back from the cabin today. It rained a lot (like the fire pit was totally flooded) so we were kinda confined to the cabin, which was ok for me most of the time.
