So one of my jobs is at an afterschool program at the Jewish Community Center. On Tuesdays my coworker Hannah and I take kids grades k-2 to this indoor playscape the center has and before they go in, they take off their shoes and sit on the mat and we go over the rules (no running, hitting, climbing on the black nets, etc). I'm so sick of people's bullshit. I'd call them out on it, but I don't want to do the same thing as them. Eventually I'll get tired of holding myself back and just tear into them, and by then it'll be so high-pressured and calculated that I'm just going to regret anything I say.
