What do you do when your mind seems torn in two? Sometimes I wonder if I really know myself at all, or if I just adapt to what's around me to avoid the confusion of really searching my heart. Life just keeps on moving. Still can't believe that I got a dog about a month ago...she's sweet and pretty mild-mannered, but I'm still adjusting to having a pet to take care of. It's a lot of responsibility that I wasn't used to. I've taken care of plenty of kids, but never pets before! It really hit me when I realized that I'm going out of town ( Read more... )

Work is going well at St. Luke. We just finished a performing arts camp last week, where a group of professionals came in and taught the kids a musical over the course of a week. It was really cute. This week is Vacation Bible School, which is CRAZY at first but also a lot of fun. We have over 350 children involved, and I'm really enjoying leading ( Read more... )
