Change of plans....
You think that you have your life figured out, and then....God throws you for another loophole. I've decided NOT to take the position at the church in Midland. Instead, I will be working at St. Luke as the full-time Director of Children's Music and Arts Ministries. This turned out to be an awesome change of plans, but it was a really difficult decision at first. I wasn't offered this other position until I was in really deep with the other church, so it was awkward and frustrating for a while.
I am SO excited about this position! I get to lead children's choirs, puppets, drama, VBS...everything is right up my alley! Plus, I get to stay downtown, which keeps me close to concerts, friends, and other stuff.
Besides that....I'm a CSU graduate! That was an exciting day. It felt great to walk across that stage and know that I was DONE with the music school! lol. Actually, I still have a few Servant Leadership hours to finish, so I'm not completely done. Ahhh....my school responsibilities never really end.
I move into a house at the end of the month, and I start working at the beginning of June. I'm excited about a change! I need something new in my life at this point.
