Well it has been almost 3 years since I wrote in this journal.  A lot has gone on in my life since the "happy days" of yesteryear.

• I graduated from college in May of '05
• I was hired as a music teacher in the fall of '05 to teach inner city children in Washington D.C.
• I lost my job as a teacher in the summer of '06 due to the school closing.

Well lately things have been going pretty well. My classes aren't that bad. Last night at band we spent alot of time on Mars by Gustav Holst, I really enjoy playing that piece. The power and beauty that Holst composed into that piece is unreal ( Read more... )

Well im back at Lyco and Im a senior.......and next year I'll say the same thing. Our room is pretty cool,and finally setup. Its hot as hell up here. SOme drinking and whatnot shall go on tonight. Or as we call it a "Housewarming party". Heh well Ill write more later....I promise.

Well about a week ago I reached one of those milestones in my life, I turned 21. I spent it going to the River Street Jazz Cafe to see George Wesley play and enjoy my first legal sips of alcohol. Bass, corona, and martinis filled out the night and I had a great time ( Read more... )
