On an unrelated note...this is the first year Nelson can't come back for Christmas. I'm normally too busy to think about it. Every once and a while it comes to mind and makes me terribly sad and my eyes get a bit watery. I knew this would happen eventually, but it still sucks. -
End of the world?
So apparently the world ends at some point today. So I figured I might as well write a post to give y'all an update before we all explode or however it is we meet our demise.

Last summer and fall I worked on my first ever film, called "The Shape of Rex". The trailer just came out!
Also, I signed my first fully professional theatre contract the other day, for a gig designing the costumes for Persephone's Youth Tour shows. Feeling pretty fuckin' good at the moment. -

Where I've been...
I've been here, But I haven't had a computer. For the last 5 weeks. Because mine needed some repairs and I purchased an extended warranty on it, but since it was under a year old the store had to send it back to the manufacturer and it's been one big fucking mess on their part. Current soundtrack..
The movie this is from has its cute moments but it's nothing spectacular. This piece of music on the other hand - I love it. It's been on my ipod for ages, rarely listened to. But lately, for some reason it just seems to fit my life. I now listen to it several times a day. Which is weird for me, because I can't sing along....

Sometimes I say ridiculous things....
"I'm gonna go all Pre-Raphaelite on this bitch!!"
By which of course I meant "I am going to design the costumes for the King Arthur opera using Pre-Raphaelite art as inspiration, because I find their romantic views of Arthurian legend to be interesting."
