So as many of you know I live in Kvigr and Linnet's basement suite. It's two bedroom and so I also have a roommate. My roommate however is moving in with his girlfriend on January 1st. So for some time now I am been planning some new rapier fighting garb that DID NOT include knee-high boots. I dislike wearing the boots, they're hot and uncomfortable. What I *really* wanted was a pair of latchet shoes.

So this past weekend at Coronation I had mucho fun, despite the heat and Saturday's migraine.

I was a bit disappointed with the turnout for the Cadets tourney. There were.....23 (?? I can't remember the exact number) people in the list and only 1 of them was a Don that wasn't from Avacal. That is sort of lame. I can get that IN Avacal at an event ( Read more... )

So today was Turkish Picnic, a mini event sort of thing in Myrg. It was actually our tavern this month just expanded a bit to include some fighting and archery. It only got a small turnout, about average for a tavern and the food, all middle eastern was very yummy.
