Happy Post-Thanksgiving!

I hope all of the US peeps had a good Thanksgiving, whether it was family time or just a day of random loafing!

We enjoyed having the kids here, and definitely enjoyed too much eating. Wow. The regrets, I AM them. Mostly the ones shaped like pie. :O

I spent some time looking around the Internet for boots over the last couple of weeks. This was ( Read more... )

Love the boots! And the steampunk wrist-thing. Gorgeous!

Oh, and thanks so much for rec-ing Then She Was Gone. I loved it. Will probably buy another of her books.

The steampunk boots, or the Seychelles? I wouldn't buy the steampunk boots for myself, but they are fantastic. :D

I'm glad you enjoyed that book so much-- already finished, in fact! I also read "The Girls In The Garden," which wasn't quite as good, but I enjoyed it. I read the beginning to "Watching You" (as you probably did, since you had the Kindle edition of the other story), and I want to read that one for sure.

You might also like Paula Hawkins "Into The Water", which I read earlier this year. :)

Well as gorgeous as the steampunk boots are, and they are! if the Seychelles were a couple of inches shorter I'd buy those in a heartbeat. They are beautiful, and not a terrible price, either.

I think I might pre-order Watching You. I will definitely be looking into "Girls in the Garden" and "Into the Water," too.

My weak is reading things in the order they were written, so I will look into that, too.

Thank you!
:-)

those boots with the little padlocks have to be fetish boots. i mean, the heel is seven inches. no one is going to wear those out to dinner. and the demonia ones are goth boots! i'm 99.44% sure i know at least one someone who used to own boots like that. i'd fall right off them, tho.

steampunk is such a cool aesthetic. the stuff is just so neat. have a little top hat.

Yes-- there were a lot of fetish boots. What's funny about the goth boots (which are hideous) is that they came up when I searched Amazon for "sexy knee-high boots". And so did some of that fringe-wear. I mean, I get that that's fun for some people, but I don't think anyone really this of those as sexy!

That hat is awesome. Whoo!
