Happy Easter!

For those of you who celebrate Easter, I hope you're able to spend some time with loved ones today. I'll be calling my sister's house, where the Oregon clan are gathered. Our daughter was home at the beginning of Spring Break, but left on Tuesday to go to DC with friends. I snuck some Easter candy into her luggage

My Hub liked the Martian best of those two. I liked Bridge of Spies. We canceled each other out! LOL.

Hahaha! I did like Bridge of Spies, but I also felt like there were no surprises in the storytelling or the performance there. So, while I enjoyed it, the overall feeling afterward was kind of, "Meh."

The Martian, though... I didn't really know anything about the story, and watching it unfold, a lot of it was pure "Yikes!" at being in that character's position. Stranded just one minor accident away from toxicity at any given time... ulp.

If you celebrate the true meaning of Easter then Happy Easter to you, my friend. If you don't I hope you had a Happy Egg Day with a visit from the Easter Bunny! ♥

The religious meaning of Easter is not for me, but I understand its importance and joy for those who believe in it. It is kind of annual renewal of life and of faith.

The Easter Bunny was very kind to my son and husband (with attention to my husband's sodium limitations). There would have been a basket for my daughter last weekend, but she declined... hence the bunnyettes that were slipped into her luggage anyway. But not the highly-crushable whipped strawberry cream egg. ;)
