Ode to an awesome day
One day. in late-early 2011, Vinnie, now in his early-late 20s, celebrated his 27th birthday. And it was fantastic ^_^
We started it with tea and crumpets (made by the awesome and incredible Ellen!) smothered in butter and jam. Then we futzed around a bit until we got hungry again and went to Remedy Teas for brunch/lunch, it was wonderful, they ( Read more... ) -

Cheese sauce!
My very first sauce!
Poured so smooth and velvety
over broccoli
Bad-ass Cheese Sauce
- 6 tbs butter
- 6 tbs flower
- 3 cups of milk
- a metric-fuck ton of cheese
1. Melt the butter over low heat
2. Slowly mix in flower and cook for 5 or so minutes to toast the flower
3. Slowly add the milk and cook for another 5 minutes
4. Add the cheese
Feel free to add more -
